Illustration 3

Going to show 2 main illustration pieces that were both done with Ink and Watercolor sepia tones.

The Walt Disney piece was done similar to the Spirit Animal pieces but instead of illustration board, it was done on pressed canvas.

Similar to the Spirit Animal style with the heavy crosshatching with sepia tones, The Smokers Realization gives you that feeling that no matter how life goes something could happen to cause drastic change in ones life. The main figure is the same person down the road from young boy to young adult depicting that in such a short amount of time your opinions about something could change.

The Third Piece is a little different from my standard style it was a little out of the comfort zone and the use of digital media. Illustrator CS4 was used to create Three wall clock designs that will be uploaded to my store that will be for sale. They are all themed on time and how it creates a feeling about life that we check every day of our lives.

illustration Studio Class - Sophmore Year at Finlandia University

Title: Da Vinci's Squid
Da Vinci's Squid is a Piece based off a past celebrity and a animal that would fit them. I chose a squid that is entangled into Da Vinci's beard to represent how he had gotten so much done in his time that it seemed the only way to get all of his accomplishments done he would need a ton of extra arms.
Mc Frontalot and a Panda

This year we as a class had to work with an animal and to have human characteristics to it as well as we focused on the fur of the animal. The picture depicts a German Shepard puppy that has been exaggerated in size and is wearing a police cap.
This is an image of uncle sam driving a bulldozer with missiles strapped to the back breaking through the Berlin wall.
In this Image this depicts the cruel times that had happened in Germany during the concentration camps. The image shows a young woman being forcefully and against her will getting her head shaved. She sheds the tears of all the Jews that had to deal with this and the balance of light and dark to compliment the image.

In this assignment we were to look up an editorial in the news that has either happened years ago or had happened recently. I chose the tragic event of a 300year old Buddhist temple was destroyed killing 1700 monks. The Image has a temple on the monks head shedding the tears of the other monks transforming into new life as the monks believe. The image can be reversed upside down to show an angry monk/ what looks to be an angry monk.

This is the end of my Sophmore Year at Finlandia for my illustration Studio Class.

Adobe Illustrator

Hello everyone! I'm posting my final art projects for my Intro To Visual and Plastics class. To give a brief description of the class, In it we spend a week or two in each studio till the semester is over. Then the last 2 weeks of the semester we spend our time in what ever studio we would want to work in. Well i chose to work in the Digital Imagery lab where i focused my work on using Adobe Illustrator. So here are my Final projects:

They all took a bit of time but the one i am most proud of right now has to bee the gunman. The reason for this is that it took around 6hours to do all the shading and touch ups on it.
